The Mirror acts as the Wild Symbol so will substitute for standard Symbols to help you form winning combinations.  

Red Queen and White Queen Symbols on Reels 1 and 5 will trigger the Clash of Queens Battle Feature.

Here you will pick either the Red Crown or the White Crown. The Queen that is standing on a Matching Coloured Tile to her Dress when the time is up is the winning Queen!

Symbol Value Breakdown

The lower-value symbols in this game are the 9, 10, J, Q, K and A playing cards. The higher-value symbols are represented by characters such as Humpty Dumpty, two men leaning against each other, the White Queen and the Red Queen.

There’s also a Wild and Scatter symbol to make it more interesting.

Paytable Structure Explanation

All wins are paid from the left to right reel, and require you to match at least three of the same symbols for a win. Lower-value symbols pay anywhere from 2 to 250 coins, while premium symbols pay between 15 and 750 coins.

Scatter symbols pay from anywhere, and you only need to land two for a win. They pay between 2 and 50 coins. Wild symbols substitute for any other symbol except the Scatter, and can appear on every Reel but the last.

Winning Combinations and Probabilities

It’s easier to make winning combinations with the lower symbol values, though the odds are certainly decent for higher value symbols as well. Some of the biggest payouts in the game happen when you’re able to land a Substitution symbol, which can increase payouts substantially.

But, the biggest opportunity for huge wins come in the Bonus round, which is a battle between the two Queens.

Special Symbol Functions

Substitution symbols step in for all regular-paying symbols in the game, except the Scatter. Unlike in some other games, the Scatter is just a special symbol that pays a different way. It doesn’t trigger a Bonus round.

The special Clash of Queens Battle feature is triggered when you land a Red Queen on the first reel and the White Queen on the last reel — or vice versa. This enters you into the round, and you have to choose which Queen to side with in the battle.

Symbol Hierarchy & Design

Clash of Queens organizes its symbols quite well, with the two Queen symbols being the highest-paying ones on the game board. The other characters serve as the premium symbols that pay the most in the base game. 

This fits in great with the game’s theme, which is based around Queens and the old storybooks.
