Baccarat Super 6 – Live
For a straightforward table game experience, try Super 6 with a live dealer. This card game offers the fun of baccarat, with a fresh twist. The primary bets are: Banker, Player, and Tie. Out of the Banker and Player, you’re betting on who will get the higher hand. There’s always a chance that the two dueling sides will tie, in which case, bets on the Tie pay 8:1. There are a few key differences between baccarat and Super 6, including the payout structure and the addition of five side bets.
How to Play Baccarat Super 6 Live
This version of Super 6 comes with a live Dealer who will announce when it’s time to place your bets. You can bet on the Banker, the Player, the Tie, or any combination of the three. You’re betting on who you think will have the higher score at the end of the round. This is a hands-off game that plays out systematically. The only decision you make is where to place your bets.
After bets have been placed, the Dealer will place two cards face up for the Player and then two cards face up for the Banker. If either side has a total score of 8 or a 9, the hand is a Natural and an automatic win. If not, a third card may be drawn according to a set of rules.
The Player makes the first move, taking a third card when his total is 5 or less. If the total is a 6 or 7, the Player doesn’t draw another card. As mentioned, totals above 7 are a Natural and win automatically.
The Banker acts second and bases his actions on the Player’s hand, giving the Banker a positional advantage. If the Player doesn’t draw any more cards (he has a score of 6 or better), the Banker:
stands on a score of 6
draws on a score of 5 or less
The Banker’s actions become complex when the Player draws a third card. That’s because both the Player’s third card and the Banker’s total score dictate the Banker’s move. To find out when the Banker draws another card in these scenarios, consult with the chart below.
Banker’s Total Player’s Third Card Banker Action
2 or less - Draw
3 Anything But 8 Draw
3 8 No Draw
4 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Draw
4 0, 1, 8, or 9 No Draw
5 4, 5, 6, 7 Draw
5 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 No Draw
6 6, 7 Draw
6 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 No Draw
7 - Stands
There’s no need to memorize the chart or the Player’s moves. The Dealer adds more cards when needed automatically. After everything is said and done, the hand that’s closest to 9 points wins. Player bets pay even-money. Banker bets pay even-money except for when the Banker wins with a score of 6. In this case, you’re paid half your bet (1:2). The Tie bet pays 8:1.
In addition to the three standard bets offered in Super 6, there are five side bets. This game is equipped with the Super 6, Player Pair, Banker Pair, Either Pair and Dragon Bonus side bets.
Super 6 Side Bets
Super 6
The name of the game comes from the Super 6 side bet. When the Banker wins with a score of 6, this bet pays 12:1.
Dragon Bonus
This side bet pays on two separate occasions. It pays when your hand is a Natural, and it also pays when you win by 4 or more points. Note, you don’t get a double payment if your hand is a Natural and you win by 4 or more points. The payouts vary for the different wins. Natural wins are paid 1:1 – unless both sides get a Natural, in which case, the result is a push. Wins by 4 or more points pay at least even money. The payout increases the bigger the margin of victory. For example, if you win by 9 points, you get a massive 30:1 payout. The Dragon Bonus paytable can be accessed through the “Dragon Payout” tab on the right side of the game screen.
Player Pair
If you like betting on the Player, you may be interested in the Player Pair side bet. You’re essentially wagering that the Player’s initial two-card hand will be a pair (two cards of equal value). The payout is 11:1.
Banker Pair
Alternatively, you can always bet on the Banker Pair side bet if you prefer betting on the House. As is the case with the Player Pair, the Banker’s initial two-card hand must be a pair for you to win the 11:1 payout.
Either Pair
Not sure if you prefer the Banker or the Player? No sweat. Simply bet on Either Pair, and you’ll get paid 5:1 if either the Banker’s or Player’s initial two-card hand is a pair.
Baccarat Super 6 Live Rules
This game is played with six decks.
Each hand can have a maximum of three cards.
Super 6 Card Values
As the cards are dealt to the Player and Banker, the score of each hand will be displayed on the game screen. This is how the score is tallied:
Face cards and 10’s are worth 0.
Cards 2-9 have face value.
Aces are worth 1 point.
Suits are irrelevant in Super 6, and the score can never be more than 9 points.
In order to facilitate this score maximum, any two-digit scores (10 or more) are turned into one-digit scores by removing the first digit. A hand comprising a Four, Six, Ace would add up to 11, which is too high. Remove the first digit, and you get to the total score of 1.
